This morning we ran into two more potential problems. The air conditioner (9 year old) didn't seem to be cooling very well this year. The repair person came out this morning and said we were low on coolant. This could be a slow leak, fixed by the recharge that cost $360 this morning, or a bigger problem that will take up to $1100 just to find and fix if it is small,or an unknown amount if it is a component. Keep your fingers crossed!
Then as I was going out to get to work on sanding, I notice a little puddle of water on the deck where no water could possibly get by natural causes. It is below the kitchen sink. No water was running up there. I hate to have to tell Craig about it when he gets home.
I will not be overwhelmed.
I will NOT be overwhelmed.
I WILL NOT be overwhelmed.
I WILL NOT BE OVERWHELMED!
These problems would exist no mater what my dream is.
These problems must be dealt with.
You will NOT be overwhelmed :) Keep your eye on the light at the end of that verrrry long tunnel. It's getting closer...
ReplyDeleteHang in there. So good to get caught up with you. We are doing fine, definitely in the busy season of carnival life.
ReplyDeleteContinue to stay focused and knock out 1 item at a time. You will not be overwhelmed! A child was told he must eat an elephant, when he said he couldn't, he was advised to start with one bite at a time. He did not finish the eating in one setting, but he finished it 1 step (bite) at a time. YOU WILL NOT BE OVERWHELMED!!

This too shall pass! Remember, problems occur no matter where you are living. Too bad you live so far away. Our son is a HVAC Service Technician.
ReplyDeleteYou will be so happy you did all this work when it comes time to sell your house. It will sell in one day :)
Hang in there. You'll get it all done, sell your house for a ton of money and start enjoying your dream!
ReplyDeleteKeep on keeping on! You'll make it! :)
ReplyDeleteI promise it will be over before you know it, and these things that feel overwhelming will be distant memories. We are 3 weeks into our trip, and when I look back at my blog from the early packing up days, it seems like years ago. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteOverwhelmed is o.k. It will pass. In with the good air and out with the bad :0) Before you know it, we will tell the stories about, 'remember when...' sitting around the campfire and nodding in a knowing way with those that have gone before us.
