Friends vs relatives

Our friends are the people we choose to know and associate with.

We do not choose our relatives.

Without either we would be alone.

  5. Nothing unusual. I have always been the odd one in the family. "They" have always thought I was crazy, and now I made the mistake of telling one of them I have a blog.
My sister then pissed me off by saying she had to many "intelligent" friends and interesting activities to take the time to read my blog.

She finds conversation about "mundane" things (like my life) a bore, but that she could see how I might want to communicate with RVers.

  6. I have a brother who disses me and my blog, too. It's fine. I have had a lot of fun with my blog and have made some great friends here in Blogville. He doesn't get it. OK. More for me!! LOL!

  7. And thats the point. Having a little fun, learning from others, and writing it for yourself as much as for any readers out there.

If I had thought she would be interested in reading my blog I would have told her about it six months ago.

Fortunately she lives in another state and we maintain a tentative relationship via e-mail. When we were kids we hit each other!
