September 11

When I woke this morning I did not think about the date.  Too many other things to think about.

Then it came to me.  It is September 11.

    I didn't realize what day it was until I saw the flag at half mast at the Big Hole Battlefield today.

    That's the unfortunate (or good thing) about full-timing. Sometimes we're oblivious to the news in the outside world. We too saw flags at half-staff on our trip today, and it dawned on us what it was for.
