Another day, another task

I know, I know, you are all bored with my wallpaper removal projects!

Although I did have to chuckle when I read I.M.'s comment yesterday:

Now ya got somethin' else to put down upon yer workcamperin' rezumay. Outhouses no problem, willing to clean them down to the bare walls."

No I.M., strippen on the road aint in my future!

I did the first step on the removal of the paper from the upstairs bath today.  I call it "dry pulling."  You can get the top layer of the paper off without any messy glue remover by just carefully lifting the edges with your fingernail and pulling up large sections at a time.

I almost enjoy this step.  It's easy, satisfying and makes the room looks better already!

Craig is off tomorrow, so I'm flexible with my plans.  If he need help on his project, that is what I will be doing.  If not I guess I will be starting the harder, messy part.

Exercise Goal:
1000
miles on the treadmill or trail.
2 miles Thursday
Total walked = 336 miles

Someday I will be hiking 1000 miles in National Parks!

Yosemite
I have been there!

  1. I think your house should be called "the house of endless wallpaper". I really got a chuckle out of your comment on my blog about Lincoln where you commented on the wallpaper in their house. I think you are beginning to dream about wallpaper :)
The funny thing about the Lincoln house was that the wallpaper in the bedroom was even worse. I didn't take a picture, but believe me it was ghastly! Keep up the good work!

  3. You make me feel so lazy! Where do you get the energy to do all that work? But good for you, keep it up, and you'll be full-(or part)timing before you know it. :)

To Evelyn, I am on the LAST room!
To Laurie and Rick: All of it was here when we bought the house!
To Barbara: If I don't do it I will have to stay here for ever.

  7. You're welcome to remove it from my bathroom when you're finished in your house. After all, you're the expert.
