MLS and Virtual Tour

Well, our house is finally listed on the MLS.  The agent had an open house this weekend.  We have decided to not blog about the process until it is done, closed, and money in the bank.

When we return from this trip, we will still have some minor fixing up to do as a result of the inspections, and we will be working hard to get rid of all the stuff we still have. That I will post about!

This is the link to the Virtual Tour our realtor did for us. I know it is meant to be only a quick peek, I think it misses a few important features, but hopefully it will help bring in some potential buyers who will fall in love with the place.

Keep your fingers crossed for us.

As I have written for many others “It only takes one buyer, the right one!”

  2. Doesn't it "almost" make you want to move into that lovely house in that lovely setting? ;) Your hard work has definitely paid off. Your house looks spectacular and serene in that video!

  8. I posted the pictures that my realtor took. Then didn't post much more about the sale until after my lawyer said he had a check in hand. Good Luck on the sale.

  9. Your home is beautiful and so spacious. The new owners will be very luck people indeed. We are still waiting, 6 months now, for serious interest in my mothers seashore house. I'm completely over having it on the market but buyers are thin on the ground forth this kind of prperty at present.

You did a beautiful job of presenting it and all your hard work was worth it ... those floors are stunning.

All the best and hope your waiting time is short.

    Blessings

  10. The house looks great Merikay. You and Craig have done a great job on getting it ready for sale. I didn't notice the RV pad but maybe I just missed it. Wish the realtor had done a voice over explaining the pictures. That should help pique someone's interest. It looks beautiful.

  13. I think the video turned out great and it shows off the house very nicely. Those big windows and view will be the selling point in my opinion. Good job getting it ready.

  15. I'm thinking you have a very savvy realtor...and I hardly ever say that about one!...looks great! We build houses to sell...one day we heard a clop clop on the front porch...an old man with boots came hobbling up...looks like he was homeless and on his last leg....but...we always believed it just takes the right one. Needless to say....six weeks later...done deal!! So believe me...like you say......it just takes one...the right one!

  17. So many comments, so little time :-)

Watched the video and all I could see was a lot of upkeep that you won't have to do anymore. Also saw that you have watched a lot of shows and put in a lot of hard work to get it to this point. Liked the home theater. Good luck (hope it is sold by the time you see this comment as we are way behind reading).

    Beautiful house
